A workshop titled ‘Transformative Teaching: Integrating Technology into Medical Education ‘was conducted at Indus University of Health Sciences on 20th February 2024 facilitated by Dr. Shafaq Sultana, Dr. Saba Shahid, Dr. Ghina Shamsi and Dr. Madiha Ata. This was the second pre-conference event at IUHS for the International Conference of Medical Education 2024 by CPSP. This workshop explored the innovative use of technology and AI in teaching and assessment. The participants were introduced to practical tools to make their practices more up-to-date and engaging for this generation of tech-savvy students. Through hands-on activities, they also learned to use technology to automate their tasks and to use interactive simulations for teaching skills in medical education. It is hoped that after attending this workshop the participants will be able to use of technology to facilitate interactive learning, flexibility and access to resources.
