Diploma in Hospital Infection Prevention and Control
Introduction
The one-year institutional diploma program will prepare healthcare professionals to lead and implement comprehensive infection prevention and control strategies in integrated healthcare facilities. Ensure that candidates are fully prepared to lead infection prevention and control services and are capable of developing, implementing, supervising, and auditing a comprehensive infection prevention and control program in different healthcare facilities.

- Classes in a Week: Two (Tuesday & Wednesday)
- Duration of Class: 3 hours
- Timing: 10 am to 1 pm

Program Objectives
- Enhance understanding of the world of microbiology, which will then enable the candidate to formulate a management strategy to care for infectious patients and prevent further spread of disease.
- Ensure that candidates are fully prepared to lead infection prevention and control services and are capable of developing, implementing, supervising and auditing a comprehensive infection prevention and control program in different healthcare facilities.
- Ensure that IC professionals are capable of working within the integrated programs of quality assurance and accreditation.

Eligibility Criteria
MBBS, BDS, Microbiologist, RN +1-year specialization in any field of nursing, and generic BSN with 2-3 years of clinical experience.
Qualification
MBBS, BDS, Microbiologist RN + Midwifery and Generic BSN

Professional Degree, CNIC, Valid License, Experience letter, N.O.C required for TIH candidates/employees
