Indus College of Nursing & Midwifery marked the 14th of August with a special celebration to honor the spirit of freedom and promote environmental sustainability. The event featured a symbolic plantation activity, emphasizing the college’s commitment to a greener Pakistan.

The celebration was graced by esteemed guests, including Chief Guest Dr. Qazi Kamal, Guest of Honor, Dr. Mohammad Amin Chinoy, and respected Associate Dean, Dr. Ghina Shamsi. Madam Rashida Merchant, Director of Nursing Services, Dr. Saba Shahid, Chairperson of the Board of Studies, and Dr. Shafaq Sultana, Head of the Education Department, were also in attendance.

The theme of the event, “Save Pakistan, Green Pakistan,” underscored the importance of environmental stewardship as a patriotic duty. The dignitaries and students participated in planting trees, symbolizing hope and a commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the country.
