White Coat Ceremony – Indus University of Health Sciences

Indus University of Health Sciences (IUHS) proudly organized the White Coat Ceremony to warmly welcome new students entering the field of medical. The event marked an important milestone, symbolizing the beginning of their journey in the noble and impactful profession of healthcare.

A large number of students attended the ceremony with great excitement as they began their journey in the field of healthcare. Distinguished leadership from IUHS graced the occasion, including Dr. Syed Zafar Zaidi (Dean), Dr. Muhammad Amin Chinoy (Director), Dr. Ghina Shamsi (Associate Dean), along with principals of colleges Prof. Dr. Faridah Amin, Dr. Atiya Rahman, Dr. Farrukh Siddiqui and Mr. Hakim Ali Shah.

Dr. Syed Zafar Zaidi welcomed the new students and emphasized the significance and value of the medical profession. He encouraged students to embrace this journey with dedication and compassion. Dr. Muhammad Amin Chinoy and Dr. Ghina Shamsi also shared their thoughts, warmly welcoming the new batch and motivating them to uphold the values of the institution.

The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of white coats to the students, marking their formal induction into the healthcare field. This was followed by a symbolic walk along the newly reconstructed building to mark their entrance into the IUHS community.

A large number of academic faculty members and staff from IUHS also attended the event, showcasing their support and commitment to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals.
