The second contact session of the Certificate of Health Professions Education (CHPE) at Indus University of Health Sciences – The Indus Hospital & Health Network was held in August & September 2024 by the Department of Health Profession Education. The sessions were conducted by a dynamic team of faculty members, including Dr. Shafaq Sultana, Dr. Ghina Shamsi, Dr Saba Shahid, Dr. Zubia Waqar and Dr. Madiha Ata. We appreciate the time and expertise of our guest facilitators Dr. Nuzhat Irfan Malik, Dr. Afifa Tabassum and Dr. Sumaira Saeed, for contributing to the faculty development program. The focus of the session was on development of teaching skills for cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains by emphasizing on student centered teaching activities. Faculty and participants collaborated in interactive workshops and group discussions, to enhance comprehension of the course objectives and their practical applications in academic and clinical contexts.
