Indus Palliative Care Course
Introduction
The Indus Palliative Care Course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for those with life-limiting illnesses. This 26-week online program offers flexibility for working professionals and fosters a deep understanding of palliative care principles, preparing them to deliver holistic, dignified end-of-life care.
Program Objectives
- Equip healthcare professionals with a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of palliative care, focusing on holistic, patient-centered approaches.
- Foster compassionate communication skills for discussing diagnosis, prognosis, and end-of-life care with patients and families.
- Introduce ethical and legal frameworks for handling advanced care planning, patient autonomy, and end-of-life decision-making.

Teaching Methodologies

- The course has 4 modules, and each module is designed to provide a balanced mix of guided and independent learning, promoting in-depth understanding and practical application of palliative care principles.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (such as Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, or Social Work) from a recognized institution.
- Active professional licensure (e.g., medical, nursing, or allied health license) where applicable
