Faculty Achievement | Dr. Madiha Ata Presents a Poster on ‘ChatGPT Develops MCQs for PGME – a Blessing or a Curse’, at IMECON24
Indus University of Health Sciences-Indus Hospital & Health Network (IUHS-IHHN) actively participated in the International Medical Education Conference 2024 (IMECON24), organized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and co-hosted by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Dr. Madiha Ata presented a poster titled ‘ChatGPT develops MCQs for PGME – a blessing or a curse,’ receiving acclaim from national and international attendees.
Guided by Dr. Zafar Zaidi, three senior faculty members, Dr. Ghina Shamsi, Dr. Shafaq Sultana, and Dr. Saba Shahid, contributed to various organizing committees for IMECON. The Department of Health Profession Education, in collaboration with other departments, conducted three pre-conference workshops, attracting over 60 participants. The workshops covered ‘Transformative Teaching: Integrating Technology in Medical Education,’ ‘Developing Effective MCQs for Post-graduate Medical Education using ChatGPT,’ and ‘Harmony in Medical Education: Crafting Connections on Aligning Competencies, Learning Objectives, and Beyond!’
Representatives of IUHS-IHHN actively attended the workshops and the conference was held from February 27 to March 2, 2024. We look forward to sustained collaboration with other institutes to further contribute to the field of medical education.
