CAMPUS FACILITIES
The following campus facilities are open to all students to avail during their course of study at the College:
Our well-equipped Skills Lab provides the students and faculty with an opportunity of hands-on practice including learning activity to simulate ‘real world’ situations and patient encounters. Moderate and low fidelity simulators and mannequins are available for hands-on practice to transform the theoretical knowledge into practical work.
The Science Lab is equipped with all the basic instruments and materials according to curricular requirements. Our trained faculty and technicians are available to assist students to learn use simple and complex equipment for testing and research purposes.

With an 24/7 accessible e-Library, the College also houses a physical library for faculty and students to study and research. The library is spacious with comfortable seats, free Wifi and has a collection of subscribed books, references, international journals, magazines and newspapers. Latest edition of books related to paramedical, medical, nursing and midwifery are available.
Apart from various labs where students can practice their learning, students have access to clinical sites within the campus at the Indus Hospital as well as they are given the opportunity to visit other Indus Hospital campuses and partner hospitals. This enables to students to explore their learning and develop skills with real life experiences in the actual ward and hospital settings. Following are the hospitals where our students are sent for clinical skills module of the core curriculum:
- The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi
- The Indus Hospital, Sheikh Saeed Memorial Campus, Karachi
- National Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi
- National Institute for Child Health, Karachi
A xxx-room hostel is located within the College Campus. It is equipped fully with basic amenities required for dining, recreation and living. There are triple occupancy rooms with attached bath. The rooms well-furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk & chair and mirror. Treated filtered water coolers are available for students to have access to clean drinking water. A common pantry and laundry room is also available within the premises.
To give students an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate their mental and physical strengths, the hostel has well-furnished and spacious common rooms with many indoor games for leisure and recreation.
The Cafeteria provides spacious, hygienic and comfortable atmosphere and moreover the delicious food cooked by our expert and seasoned cooks. Residents of hostels get meals 3 times a day with a different menu each time.
We understand the importance of each and every student’s safety while s/he is away from home. Round the clock security (male and female) is available at the hostel’s main entrance.
All students have access to free health services at the Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi. The students are entitled to avail Emergency Services and a yearly medical check-up.
The College ensures that all students are vaccinated against cholera, typhoid, other communicable infections and diseases at the time of admission. A comprehensive medical record of each student is monitored during the course of education by the College administration.
