Dr.Qazi Ahmed Kamal

Chairman, Management Committee, Indus College of Nursing and Midwifery

I write this message with a sense of profound gratitude to Almighty. The Indus College of Nursing & Midwifery, formerly known as School of Nursing – Islamic Mission Hospital Trust has over the past 25 years achieved a reputation for excellence through the combined efforts of management, staff and students.

Today we are at the threshold of a new era due to two major developments. Firstly, our “Indus Hospital” is rapidly developing into one of the best tertiary medical facilities in the country. This has made us independent as regards to training for our nurses. Secondly, by the Grace of the Almighty we have been granted affiliation with the Dow University of Health Sciences and we have started two degree programs: 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing; 2-year Post RN-Bachelor of Science in Nursing; and Post RN Diploma Specialization in Pediatric Oncology and Cardiology. Of course, this means increased responsibility and more work for all concerned.

Let us pray to Almighty that we are able to meet the challenges that lie ahead and that our efforts are rewarded with success by His grace.
